Sorry I have to ask this one more time, but how is it possible to reconcile the first law of thermodynamics?

Since God created the laws of thermodynamics, I suppose He could suspend them or override them or just fool you if He wanted. I don't think you should worry too much. I don't think smart alecks get too many miracles.
