How much is too much for an apartment manager to do?

While i was at work today the manager came to my apt to fix the faucet. I had a friend there whom was in the middle of moving places so until then I let her and her husband stay with me. They're not on the lease and I know it's wrong but I wasn't going to just let them not have a safe place to live. He was angry with them, he opened the bedroom door and entered my bedroom where my gf was asleep, realizing she's asleep he banged on the door until she awoken. He then raised his voice to her saying how the hole in the door (which was caused by an oldfriend) was now going to cost us 150.00. He wants the money in the morning. He then said we have to shampoo the carpets and all this out of pocket. Is that not what a deposit is for? The carpet isn't bad. Maybe a few spots where the little boy spilled something and even though you clean it, it stills leaves a small stain. But it can be removed with a machine. I worked for home depot and I know the door is a 30 - 50$ door. Why 150.00? Can he do this? If I refuse to pay the money and explain that's what my 350.00 deposit is for and more than covers the cost can he then evict me? If so, how can I fight this and make it a known public affair so others know how this apt complex treats it's tenants? I feel like the intrusion into my bedroom while my gf was sleeping is morally wrong. What if she was changing? Please help, thanks. Aaron.
