Is waterloo road real school drama?

I watch it too, and im the same age as most of them too (16), there are lots of couples in my year, but no gay couples, there is a lad who admits to be gay though, but he has no boyfriend, but i very much doubt that teachers hold drugs for students, i do know someone who bought weed in to school when he was 16, he got kicked out for good, so yeah, most of ''Waterloo Road'' is fake and would probably never happen, hope i helped.
