How did Mary Cheney and her girlfriend make a baby if a man is required as claimed by Sean Hannity?

Hannity supported government intrusion of personal lives by saying that marriage could only be between man and woman because that's how babies are made. Yet, his friend Mary Cheney did it without a male partner. Why is Hannity dissing Dick Cheney's daughter?
