Medicare now demands a copy of your testing log before it will pay for strips?

Is anyone else concerned over this intrusion? Medicare isn't charity -- I paid for the coverage, plus a monthly premium. And what's to stop anyone from just making up test results? Is this just more of the same as the federal regulators ignoring risky banking practices and then punishing only the little banks who had the least to do with the debacle? Who's in charge here, anyway?
